Ray-Ban now offers three distinct ways to experience polarized vision: Polarized S, Polarized+ and classic polarized lenses. They are not three labels for the same thing. Lens treatment, colour perception and available frame designs all change.
What polarized lenses actually do
Polarization filters much of the intense glare reflected by horizontal surfaces such as roads, water and pale paving. The practical result is often calmer vision and cleaner contrast. Polarization and UV protection are separate specifications, so always check the individual model and the conditions in which you will wear it.
Polarized S: colour, tuned
This Innovation Lab development is designed to heighten the visual experience in both urban and natural landscapes. Ray-Ban offers it in four lens tones and pairs it with the brand's first invisible anti-reflective coating. The family includes RB4475CH, RB4470CH and RB4468, all with confident contemporary shapes.

Polarized+ combines anti-reflective and colour-enhancing technologies for sharper, brighter contrast. The RB3686 186/K8 from the Chromance family is the standout choice here for anyone who wants a lightweight metal frame and a particularly defined view.
Polarized: the icon you already know
New Wayfarer RB2132 901/58 keeps Ray-Ban's familiar silhouette and adds a polarized lens for everyday wear. It is the easiest choice if you want a versatile frame with less tilt than the Original Wayfarer and a useful range of sizes.
