Use the dimensions printed on your current glasses as a starting point. For example, a pair marked 52–18 has a nominal lens width of 52 mm and an 18 mm bridge; that is not the total frame width. Compare the temple length as well. Shape, bridge fit and your prescription all matter when choosing a frame.
