Miu Miu was born in 1993 as Miuccia Prada's freer line. While Prada seeks reduction, Miu Miu seeks tension: classic materials in proportions that aren't. Thick acetate where others use thin. Curves where others put straight lines. Colour where others choose safety.
The SS26 sun collection carries that philosophy into four distinct models. All share the same high-density acetate and the same five-screw barrel hinges. But each proposes something different: the 01YS experiments with colour, the 01ZS scales the proportions up, and the 04ZS breaks the rectangular geometry that dominates the rest of the line.
01YS. The model that defines the collection.

Dusty pink. The colour Miu Miu has made its own signature. Rectangular 51 mm front with softened corners. Brown gradient lenses.
The pink is no accident. Miu Miu uses it as a statement: a tone that demands confidence and rewards with a presence that black glasses will never give.
01YS 1AB5D1
Absolute black. The same structure stripped of colour. Dark lenses, polished black acetate, temples with embossed logo.
51 mm lens width, 22 mm bridge. Rectangular geometry with soft corners that doesn't compete with the face: it frames it.

The 01YS VAU6S1 introduces forest green with brown lenses. Works with neutrals and with colour. The variant you least expect and the one that surprises most when you see it on.
01ZS. Larger, more enveloping.
The 01ZS scales up the 01YS proportions to 55 millimetres. More enveloping shape, greater lateral coverage, grey lenses with a neutral tone that works as well for driving as for the street.
Where the 01YS plays with colour, the 01ZS plays with scale. Black with grey lenses, nothing more. At €217, it's the most accessible entry point in the collection — and possibly the most versatile.

55 mm. Black. Grey lenses. Enveloping shape with increased coverage and no unnecessary bulk. High-density acetate with barrel hinges.
04ZS 19P2Z1
The change of register. Where the rest is rectangular, the 04ZS is round. 50 mm, metal bridge, pink acetate with violet lenses. Miu Miu at its boldest.
04ZS. Round, unexpected.
Acetate and metal. Circular shape that breaks with the rectangular geometry of the rest of the collection. Three colours: violet pink, black and olive green.
